3. Atenolol Study:
Inclusion Criteria
They included VA
patient A and B. The inclusion criteria are important because
the indicate who this study refers to. The patient were scheduled
for elective non-cardiac surgery and had either coronary artery
disease, peripheral vascular disease, or two risk factors: age
greater than or equal to 65, hypertension, smoking, elevated cholesterol,
or diabetes. These inclusion criteria are what you should be looking
for when when considering a patient for BBAC, so pay attention!
